Do Bathroom Color Trends Matter

When planning a new bathroom or a remodel, there are several things that must be considered. One aspect to consider is the choice of colors. Although I typically advise against relying on trends during the design process, color trends do hold significance and heres why.

Modern bathroom with oval bathtub, tall black faucet, small brass table, and potted plant. Soft light casts shadows on gray tiles.

Colors and styles date your home! When you walk into a home you know if that home is from

the 50's, 60's, 70's and so on. If the outside has a style and artcitecure and the inside has been a complete remodel you know that. If the house is outdated. If the home is a track home you automatically know if that home has been upgraded.

Entering this Lime Green Bathroom, you might think it dates back to the 1960s or 1970s.

Modern bathroom with gray tiles, white bathtub, glass shower, and black vanity. Minimalist decor includes green leaves and a sleek vibe.

This gray and white bathroom from 2018 to 2025 ( I haven't sold or planed a gray bathroom for most of 2025 )

Pink bathroom with a tub, sink, and green plant. White window shows greenery outside. Soft pink tiles create a cozy, vibrant mood.

Here we have a 1950's bathroom.

There are many things you must take into account when you begin this process and color is definitely one of them. Here at Licari Tile & Home we help our clients create rooms that can stand the test of time while still being current and on trend.
